Hangouts Meet instructions
Schedule a video meeting
- Go to Google Calendar and create an event.
- On the Guests tab, click Add guests and enter the email addresses.
- (Optional) You can also copy an existing conference from one event to another by clicking View details > Edit create. Paste or type an existing Hangouts Meet URL, and then click Done.
Note: You can only paste a Meet link (not a classic Hangouts link) from another Calendar event. - Click SAVE.
- Click Send to send the invites.
Guests receive an email with the event information and a link to the video call.
Join a video meeting
From Calendar
- In Calendar, click the event you want to join and click Join Hangouts Meet.
- In the Hangouts Meet window, click Join.
Classic Hangouts instructions
- Go to Google Calendar and create an event.
