If you work with an international team, add their time zones to your calendar.

The next time you schedule an event with people across the world, you’ll see what time you’re proposing for both your and your guests' locations.

Add a time zone to your calendar

  1. In Google Calendar, click Settings settings > Settings.
  2. Scroll to Time zone tab, click Primary time zone, and select your time zone.
  3. Enter a label for your time zone.
  4. (Optional) To show another time zone, check the Display secondary time zone box. Then, select the time zone and enter a label. To switch them, click Swap swap_vertical_circle.
  5. (Optional) To update your time zone by location, check the Ask to update my primary time zone to current location box.


Change time zones for an event

You can change time zones if you own the event or have edit permission.

  1. In your calendar grid, click the event and click Edit mode_edit.
  2. At the top, next to the date and time, click Time zone.
  3. (Optional) To show different time zones for your event’s start and finish, check the Use separate start and end time zones box.
  4. Select the new time zone.
  5. Click OK.

Add a time zone to your calendar

  1. In Google Calendar, click Settings settings and select Settings.
  2. On the General tab, for Your current time zone, click Show an additional time zone.
  3. Check Display all time zones.
  4. Select the time zone and give it a label.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.


Change time zones for an event

  1. In Calendar, click the event title in your calendar to open it.
  2. At the top, next to the date and time, click Time zone.
  3. Change the country and time zone.
  4. Click Done.
  5. Click SAVE.
  6. (Optional) If it’s a recurring event, click the appropriate option.

Note: You can only change time zones for events that you create.
