Google Drive can take several minutes to actually upload files from your local machine to the cloud, and is often not done even though the checkmark shows next to the file on your local machine. You can check this by opening Google Drive in a browser and looking for the file there after you've put it into your local drive. If it does not show on the Google Drive web page -- it will not show up in a Frame session. Again, it can often take several minutes after the local check mark shows, before the file is actually up on Google Drive in the cloud.
What we've found works best for using Google drive for file uploads is to copy the new file directly to the browser version of Google Drive (just drag-n-drop from the local folder to the Google drive web page). Then to refresh the view in your Frame session just re-open the folder by navigating away and back or repeat the File Open process.
